Fright Night

If you are easily frightened, I recomend you not reading this.
On a gloomy, Halloween night, Carmen was trotting around the square of Strattenberg. She was meeting her best friend, Suzzane, at seven o’clock at Popo’s Pizza Parlor for diner and discussing plans for tonight. It was decided that they would spend the night at an old abandoned house, supposedly haunted, with their boyfriends. Carmen would have to take her nine year old brother, Chase, and she would take her love, Addison. Suzzane would take her boyfriend, Kevin. After they planned their adventure for tonight and scarfed down their ham and mushroom pizza, Carmen invited Suzzane to her house.

      They’d need five sleeping bags and pillows for their sleep over. Suzzane brought Oreo’s and Cheetos and Carmen brought Orange Pop. Amy, Carmen’s mom, got home from running errands. She asked the girls, “What are you girls doing?” Carmen explained, “We and some of our friends are spending the night at an abandoned house… With Chase.” Of course Amy was okay with it.

             When Carmen’s dad, Bill, got home, he took the girls to get Addison and Kevin. At Addison’s house, whenever Bill went to get him, Carmen took a look down the street and found a spindly, muscular man in a mask staring at her. She got a text from her mom that read: WATCH OUT FOR THE GOLDEN SLASHER! Carmen had no idea what Amy was talking about. She responded back: WHY? When Bill went to Kevin, Carmen got a text back from her mom that read: BECAUSE HE KILLS LITTLE TENNAGERS AND ANYONE WITH THEM WITH HIS SOLID GOLD KNIFE. When Kevin got into the car, they headed to the house. Bill asked, “Where’s this house at?” “On the corner of Butter Scotch Drive,” responded Carmen. Once they walked up the steps to the house, Carmen looked back, and staring at her was the man in the mask, pointing his solid gold knife at her.

          “Run inside to the basement, hurry!” Carmen shouted at them. They all single filing ran down the stairs inside a room that seemed to be a bathroom, confused and frightened. Then… Bang! Bang! Bang! The room burst into flames! They ran upstairs, but at the top of the stairs was the slasher! He took one step downstairs but fell, so they ran up the stairs. When Chase ran up the stairs, the slasher threw his knife up and hit chase right in the chest. Carmen cried her eyes out. The front door was boarded up so no one could leave or enter. They sprinted into the kitchen and hid under the table and waited for a long time. Then the slasher grabbed Suzzane, punched her in the stomach, and carried her down the stairs. Kevin baled so they went into the closet. They waited… and waited… for a long time. Too long for Kevin so he took a peek outside then, SLICE! The slasher sliced Kevin’s face of! Carmen and Addison both screamed and went downstairs into a bedroom where  Suzzane laid with one arm, leg, eye, and ear. Carmen couldn’t take it anymore. “You have to do something!” Carmen told Addison. Addison did the most logical thing. He grabbed an Oreo and chucked it at his face. No good luck. Then he grabbed a chainsaw, turned it on, and threw it at him. The Golden Slasher was in pieces! Since the door was boarded up, he cut the door down. Carmen and Addison were running down the street, both yelling and crying. That scare would forever make the kids closer.

                                    Twenty Years Later

            “Addison Ray Morrison, do you take Carmen May Perry to be your wife?” asked the preacher. “I do!” Addison responded. “You may kiss the bride!” Standing at the front of the church was the Golden Slasher, with knife in hand.
